About the event
Come and support our youth at the 2026 Dunedin Youth Jazz Festival!
The 2026 Dunedin Youth Jazz Festival features high schools from Dunedin and across Otago as they perform and compete to be awarded the Best Big Band and the Best Small Combo in the region.
Our esteemed adjudicator Duncan Ferguson, HOD St Andrew's College (Christchurch), will provide insightful feedback to the students and select the All-Star Band for a workshop on August 1st (performance at 3:30 pm).
Celebrate musical success with us on July 31st as we look to the future: in Dunedin's up-and-coming Jazz Musicians!
The Dunedin Jazz Foundation is proudly supported by the Otago Community Trust and the Dunedin City Council.
