The Dunedin Jazz Club is thrilled to present our upcoming "Pop-up" event featuring Piecemeal, an experimental modern jazz quintet known for their innovative blend of free improvisation and avant-garde styles, infused with influences from math rock and noise. Join us at The Dish Cafe and Bar on the 12th of April at 7:00 PM for an evening of original compositions from their upcoming album, alongside free-form jam sessions and unique interpretations of jazz standards. Leading Piecemeal is the talented Peter Claman, a well-known trombonist in the local music scene, performing with various groups such as the Dunedin City Jazz Orchestra, Dunedin Symphony Orchestra, 'Koile, Loose & Colourful, Ed and the Shadow Boys, and Tahu and the Takahē, among others.
